You might spend a lot of time here just wine tasting — Walla Walla alone has over 140 vineyards. Eastern Washington, in addition to its many wineries, offers a plethora of outdoor activities. This region is home to beautiful hiking routes and state parks. Palouse Falls is the most spectacular and lovely spot in America that has the biggest attraction in Eastern, Washington where we agree that this was stunning scenery. Palouse Falls State Park does not have many activities, and it is just about 100 acres in size. It’s out in the woods and doesn’t have many amenities.  The aim of visiting this park, however, is to see pure natural beauty at its greatest.

Palouse Falls is a popular destination for a photographer, artists, and other professionals because of its natural beauty. Set a camp on the paths above the falls and just let your imagination run wild. There are several views from which to watch the falls, but make sure to remain on designated routes. The environment couldn’t have done it any better. When you’re at the falls, you forget everything you’ve been thinking about because the majestic majesty of the Palouse Fallswill captivate our thoughts. Since there won’t be any frills at the park, you’ll have to stick to the necessities. So, when we say “basics,” we mean hiking, swimming, camping, and kayaking. Get in touch with nature and all of its beautiful aspects.

Here are a few tips to make your trip a bit easier!

  1. Palouse Falls: Sunset, Starlight, and Sunrise

Palouse Falls is one of those uncommon spots where you don’t have to go at dawn or sunset to get the best light. If you visit around sunrise or sunset, the canyon walls create long shadows across the falls. That is why I recommend early morning or, better yet, evening. The sun shines exactly beautifully on the falls at that precise moment.

  1. Hike

Numerous hiking routes provide a lovely route to every portion of Palouse Falls. There’s a walkway that leads to a vantage point immediately just above falls. It is an incredible sight. There is also a route that takes you along canyon walls, which is magnificent on its own. Lastly, there is a walkway leading down to the lake. This particular road has already degraded in numerous spots.

  1. Picnic to enjoy an outdoor lunch at the state park

The Palouse Falls State Park near Starbuck, Washington, is brimming with breathtaking scenery and exciting activities. Even though it’s a little more than an hour’s drive from Walla Walla, the visit is worth it — you don’t want to miss it. With everything, this 13,000-year-old water feature has to offer. Check out everything there is to do at Palouse Falls State Park. Birdwatching and animal observation are also feasible here.

  1. Kayak

The Palouse River may be followed for almost 7 picturesque miles till it meets the Snake River. Always remember to start your trek downstream of the falls. Take a picnic and relax while taking in the scenery.

If you visit, keep in mind that actual people live in this neighborhood. Respect neither any signs, avoid blocking driveways and be courteous. the Palouse, and you’ll most certainly like to return to discover what other wonders this lovely piece of Americana nature has in store for you.

The sand is white, so the water is very clear and the waves are roaring loudly. From the beaches of Senggigi hotels to the quiet subtropical beaches of Kuta to the beaches around the Gili islands, you will find all the impressive beaches to visit. Whether you come to surf or just need to relax on the sand, Lombok has everything to enjoy.

  1. Kuta Beach Lombok

Kuta Lombok is a city that tourists are increasingly visiting. The increasing number can see this of inns, cafes, and restaurants there. At night, the regional pubs have live music performances to immerse visitors in a pleasant atmosphere while enjoying the beautiful stars. The city is believed to be growing rapidly and attracting more visitors

the next few years.

There are many buildings under construction near the city’s coast, which means the prediction will really happen in the future. The beaches in town are good enough for a quick swim, but the beaches around Kuta are much more secluded and picturesque. In our view, this will be the best beach near Kuta Lombok.

  1. Selong Belanak Beach

Located about 30 minutes from Kuta, this beach has something for everyone. Part of the beach is lined with small warungs (restaurants). The waves are calm, ideal for nurturing your browsing skills as a newcomer. Furthermore, you will find fancier restaurants if you want a good meal and beyond that, you will find very long stretches of sand all alone.

Selong Belanak is undoubtedly one of the hugely popular southern beaches on Lombok, therefore it may feel bloated by the stalls, but if you keep going, you may notice that the further you move, the beach becomes lonely. Sunny afternoons decorated with clear blue water are simply amazing.

  1. Mawi Beach

This Lombok beach is not very developed and very quiet. On a clear day, Mawi beach is beautiful. We just saw another couple on a long stretch of sand. The route to Mawi is quite difficult and maybe a bit dangerous if you are not used to riding a motorbike. Be careful if it has recently rained, as the sand can make it difficult for the bike. But beyond these obstacles, you will be amazed by the adventures you have undertaken.

We do not observe stalls or shops, so please allow you to do your inspection. If you continue along the coast, from Seong Belanka, and around Semeti Beach, you will find rock formations where the sand ends. It is well worth the little hike to enjoy the beach view from that kind of rock. If you continue past the stones, you will hit the second, and even lesser, Mawi element. Within this stretch, you will find the Mawi Surf Cafe, a small warung selling basic food and drinks.

  1. Semeti Beach

The location is right next to Mawi beach and may be less well understood than the beach. You can reach Semeti by returning to the same dirt road you took for Mawi and turning. It will take you to a deserted Lombok beach and different countryside with lots of rocks and caves to explore.

It was great to spend the day here climbing the rocks and looking around. This steep natural beach provides a bolder challenge than other beaches. Semeti is also an ideal location to watch the sunset when it’s not too cloudy.

Lombok, Indonesia, is often considered the younger brother of the beautiful island of Bali. After all, Lombok is where you should make your vacation destination when you go to Indonesia. Arriving in Lombok, you can trekking Mount Rinjani (the second most important volcano in Indonesia), enjoy waterfalls at Tiu Kelep and Sindang Gila, see Pink Beach or learn to surf in Kuta. Wow, it turns out that there us national parks are so many things to do in Lombok.

  1. Trekking Mount Rinjani

I’ll start with some of the most famous activities in Lombok, such as trekking Mount Rinjani. It’s not a trip you can take in 1 day. The peak over 3,726 meters takes three grueling days. Generally, you need more than 12 hours of travel each day. However, it will be worth it when you reach the second highest volcano in Indonesia.

These tracks are only available between April and January due to weather conditions. January – April is the rainy season, and the roads are too dangerous and muddy. Even though it looks heavy, it could be one of the most rewarding adventures you will ever try.

  1. Seeing Crater Lake

If the Mount Rinjani trek isn’t your thing, how about an overnight camping trip to the Crater border? While this activity is just as complex and can take up to eight hours to reach your campsite, you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the crater lake called Segara Anak Lake.

  1. Chasing Waterfalls

There are several waterfalls in Lombok, but two of the most striking (and most popular) are Tiu Kelep and Sindang Gila. Located at the foot of Mount Rinjani in Mount Rinjani National Park, Tiu Kelep and Sindang Gila Waterfalls are located in the small village of Senaru. They can easily be seen together in 1 day.

The first and most accessible waterfall is Sindang Gila. Paved paths through pristine forests are easy to follow. You can find the waterfall before touching it and feel the incredible torrent when you stumble on the edge of the waterfall.

Leaving Sindang Gila, you will be guided to walk across the same path and turn left towards Tiu Kelep. The first part of the journey was easy and enjoyable through more forests and also bridges. But the route you have to take next is quite a challenge, so it’s best to be prepared. We climbed up and down large boulders and formed the bottom of a terraced waterfall through the flowing stream. You can be sure that this trip will be a remarkable thing on your tour.

  1. Visiting Gili Islands

The trip from North Lombok to 3 small islands on the Gili Islands takes about 20 minutes by local boat. These are all sand islands with no motorized transportation, and you can spend your days lazing on white sandy beaches, sipping fresh coconuts on a sea swing or hammock, or partying until the sun rises. The Gili Islands have something all tourists want. Here is a brief description of the Gili:

  • Gili Air

The closest to Lombok and also a medium-sized island. It is suitable for everyone from solo travelers, party individuals to families.

  • Gili Trawangan

Dubbed the “party island”, Gili Trawangan is known for having a lot more to offer than just partying. The largest of the three islands is an excellent place for shopping, including boutique shops, mini-golf courses, and helipads.

  • Gili Meno

Because the place is quiet and quiet, it is very suitable for being a honeymoon destination. There are Eco Hostels from the north and lush resorts to the southeast. For snorkelers, don’t miss the underwater sculptures from the west coast.

There are 26 Gili Islands around Lombok, “Gili” means island in the native Sasak language but not all are occupied. Some of the main Gili islands are significantly more developed than others, but we were thrilled to discover which one was our favorite. Which Gili islands are your favorites? You have to see and decide for yourself, in the end, this is a secret!

Snowblades – Also called short skis, ski boards, and ski blades, this ski equipment is perfect for beginners looking for the first sensations in the snow, as it is not necessary to lean your body forward so much when skiing. Their sizes range from 70 cm to 143 cm and can be thinner (suitable for “groomed” snow) or thicker (better for soft snow, called “powder”).

All-Mountain – As the name suggests, they are ideal for skiing on all slopes and terrains. They are a little wider than other ski equipment (they are between 80mm and 90mm wide), ensuring good buoyancy on different surfaces, such as powder snow, ice, prepared snow, and sloped terrain. This is the most comprehensive type of skiing, but this generality can make the experience on some terrains not so personalized for experts.

Carving – Carving skis have an hourglass shape to facilitate maneuvers and turns. Because they are curved, they offer a natural turn when the metals (the edges) sink into the snow. They are best for speed, lateral grip, and precision cornering. It is great to ski equipment for soft and treated snow (“groomed”) and for those who have already mastered the technique of making turns with parallel skis.

Big Mountain – Made to help the skier float in the deepest snow in the most extreme conditions. They are longer, wider and stiffer, to provide extra support and stability for experienced skiers who want to skim the slopes at high speeds, steep terrain, and over pristine snow.

Powder – Can be wider than Big Mountain skis, reaching up to 140mm wide. Because of this, these types of skis are perfect for deep and soft snow, like “powder,” which ensures better buoyancy and maneuverability. They are also suitable for stability in off-piste skiing mode. The biggest difference with this model is that it offers a reverse curvature, with the tip and ski rail are thinner than the middle section.

Freestyle – A ski equipment for those who love to practice aerial maneuvers in snow parks, such as half-pipe, jumps, trails, among other possibilities. They are usually bidirectional, allowing you to walk backward or forward with more stability than other skis types. Some can also be used in other areas of the mountain.
