Embodied Interaction with IoT – Presented by Caroline Hummels, Eindhoven University of Technology, department of Industrial Design, at The Internet of People Event which will take place on December 15, 2016, Designhuis, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Internet, IoT and now IoP. Are they mainly buzzwords, or an indication that we are moving from a technology-oriented perspective to a human perspective? More specifically, can this stimulate an embodied being-in-the-world perspective on technology, where meaning is created in interaction with each other and our lifeworld. In this talk I will show the potential of taking an embodied interaction perspective towards IoT.
