2018 edition

On November 23, internationally renowned speakers and IoT enthusiasts gathered in Amsterdam to debate the way our increasingly digitized society develops in the context of the entirely new Internet emerging.

The half-day Internet of People Event hosted by Digital Society School  addressed the social and societal implications of the Internet of Things and related topics and technologies. A humanity-centred approach to the digital world, covering design, tech and social sciences.

Speakers from Economic Board Groningen, Philips Design, Delft University of Technology, BrainCreators and Digital Society School were there to share their knowledge. The presentation titles included: Artificial Intelligence | Intimate Computing is Computing with Vulnerability |Being physical in a digital world |New horizons for Groningen with 5G and How to prepare for the future – understanding and implementing health trends in a fast changing time.
